Captain Eddie Cooney


Eddie has been in the yachting industry for 20 years, starting in Ft Lauderdale on what should have been a temporary position during a gap year from college in Ireland. However, life on yachts was a stronger lure than another two years of university, and this has led him through a varied yachting career to where he now. Eddie joined Grace E (formally known as Andale) during the build and has seen her through a very extensive refit during 2008 ] 2009 in Viareggio where he now currently resides.

Chief Engineer Craig Wilson


Craig has been on board for 3 years. From Massachusetts, Craig has been associated with boats since his teens when he was sailing in the Virgin Islands. Following his time at the Maine Maritime Academy, he was with a shore side engineering company, before going to sea with the US Merchant Marine. Hi career changed when he was introduced to yachts in the Pacific about 8 years ago., He has remained on yachts since, and covered extensive areas including supervising new yacht constructions in Italy. Craigfs interests are music, playing his guitar, cycling and skate boarding.

Second Engineer Ross Clarke


Ross is the newest member to the crew. He joins us from Australia where he has been working on sailing yachts and travelling to New Zealand for the last 18 months. He calls England home and when hefs not studying to update to his Engineering license he likes to keep active by running, sailing and various water sports.

First Mate Jeff Hill


From Western Australia joined Grace E at the end of her refit period in Viareggio. After completing his Captains license in Australia, he took off to travel for 2 years and decided to settle in San Diego where he and his wife now call home. Jeff joined yachting in 2000 and has extensive experience on similar sized vessels. He especially enjoys hiking, surfing and music.

Bosfun Damien Daley


Damien joined Grace E at the beginning of 2009. Originally from Byron Bay, now lives in Sydney Australia. Where he worked as a carpenter before he felt the urge to travel and discovered yachting. Damien has now been in yachting for over 3 years. In his spare time, he loves to surf, wakeboard and snowboard.

Deckhand Mathew Whitehead


From Manchester, England, Mattie worked for the British Royal Army as a vehicle mechanic for over 3 years. Feeling he needed to travel, he was encouraged to give yachting a go. He believes hefs made the right choice and
is thoroughly enjoying the yachting lifestyle. Mattie is a big fan of Manchester United football team. He enjoys snowboarding and playing his guitar.

Chief Stewardess Lara Wilson


From New Zealand, Lara has been on yachts for about 6 years having previously been in the restaurant industry in fine dining establishments. Lara grew up in Auckland and has been travelling since 2000. She has recently purchased a property with her husband in Newport, RI where she now considers her new home. When shefs not thinking of interior decorating, she loves to do yoga,
Pilates and go skiing.

Stewardess Manuela Tori


Has 10 years in the yachting industry on both sailing and motor yachts. Born in Viareggio, Manuela is our resident translator. Before joining yachting, she studied Fashion Design in Italy. After travelling throughout Europe, Caribbean, New Zealand & Asia, Manu decided fashion wasnft for her. She is very active and loves to rollerblade, go horse riding and cooking.

Stewardess Michelle Dewhurst


Having studied Hospitality at college, Michelle continued her career working in hotels, restaurants and a chalet in Austria. She has also worked in Ireland and throughout the UK. Wanting to expand on her skills and travelling, Michelle discovered yachting. Michelle is new to the industry but is excited to learn another side to the hospitality industry. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing
snowboarding, and taking long walks.

Chef Scott Cantwell


Scott has been cooking aboard Grace E for over 2 years now. Scott was born in Fiji and lived there for 5 years before moving to his current home in New Zealand. After school and university, he decided that cooking was his preference and enrolled with the cooking facility at the college. After a period working in some of the finer hotels and restaurants in New Zealand, Scott heard of the yachting industry through a friend, and he has been on yachts since 2004. Outside the galley Scott enjoys keeping fit supporting the Kiwifs in their various
sporting endeavors.


Stewardess Nadia Gordon


Nadia recently joined the Grace E crew. leaving her job as a Corporate Travel Agent, back home in New Zealand in 2007. Nadia traveled to the US, London and only recently Scotland. Yachting seemed to be the next step for her career in hospitality. This is Nadiafs first time in yachting although you would never know. Born in NZ and raised on a dairy farm for most of her childhood. She has a passion for horses and enjoys running and keeping fit.
