Chef Sarah Myers' value to her clients derives from cooking for her own pleasure over the last fourteen years before becoming a professionally trained private chef in 2007. After launching her culinary career as Executive Chef and Owner of Deliciosa Personal Chef Services from 2007 to 2010, Sarah decided to sail the high seas as an Executive Chef aboard a luxury motor yacht privately owned by a prominent Connecticut family. She served aboard the yacht for a year-and-a-half before renewing her passion for travel and continuing education, embarking on a journey to Southern Thailand to study Royal Thai Cuisine.
Sarah formally trained in Denver, Colorado, and has since studied in Paris, France, and Northern Italy. She has a deep passion for anything related to culinary arts, travel and culture and describes her cooking style as global cuisine with an emphasis on health and simplicity. “Letting the organic and savory taste of nature tantalize your palate while leaving you light and satisfied” is her mantra.
Engineer - Andrew Clarke
Andrew was born in South Africa and moved to Chicago as a teenager. After completing a degree in English Literature in Minnesota, he taught English in Nepal for 3 years as a Peace Corps volunteer. At the end of his service he spent several months in India and then Thailand where he learned to scuba dive. After returning to the States he worked as a computer consultant in the banking industry for the next seven years, the last of which took him to the Caribbean where he worked on 14 different islands. He realized that being in and on the ocean was much more pleasant than sitting in front of a computer screen, quit his job and moved to Thailand to work as a dive instructor. His time there came unexpectedly to an end when the Tsunami struck. Andrew returned to the United States to work on a liveaboard dive boat doing whale watching charters in the Dominican Republic and diving in the Bahamas. He soon discovered the yachting industry and joined his first yacht as a deckhand. He worked as Mate for a couple of years but finds engineering to be most enjoyable as a career.
