OLGA Testimonials
Nov. 20 - 27, 2011
Dear Sarah, Everything worked out beautifully on Olga. The boat is lovely. The crew was very sweet and helpful. They came up with creative solutions to some logistical Issues that we had. The food was delicious! All in all a great time was had by all. Thanks so much for going the extra mile to come up with A great alternative on short notice for our family vacation. -----------------
I wanted to reflect upon our experience on Olga and share my thoughts with you.
As you're well aware, I’ve chartered several yachts during the past decade. Captain Bernard and his staff represent the finest of my experience.
Our families had an incredible trip as a result of the cleanliness of the yacht, the smiling faces of the staff, the flexibility of the Captain and the remarkable food prepared by a fabulous chef.
We will be happy to charter Olga or its successor with Capt. Bernard and staff again.
Thanks for the great recommendation.

I wanted to drop a line on Mark and Randi's behalf to let you know that it was one if not the best trip they haven taken. The crew was unbelievable and everything exceeded everyone's' expectations. Also, Mark is appreciative of the care and concern the crew displayed after his fall. He was very well taken care of.

All in all, their trip was phenomal and there is no doubt in my mind that we will be booking again soon on the Olga with the same crew. They are hooked!!!

Hi Bernard,
I just spoke with Peter H., who had only praise for OLGA and her crew.
Everything was as perfect as it could be, after 2-3 days the crew were "doing things for us before we knew we wanted them." "The boat is spectacular, the crew provided more and better service than we could have expected."
They loved the dinner on the beach with paella prepared by the Captain and served on china and crystal with tablecloths. The crew were great with the kids. Everything on the boat worked. He had not chartered before and he would do it again (Peter B. had chartered before).
Peter H. is satisfied with the accounting and I will keep in his file to guide me in collecting APA for his next charter.
They are talking about the Med for Summer 2008 and I will follow up with them in that regard.
Thanks very much for doing a fine job for my clients. I will certainly be presenting OLGA at every opportunity.
Kind Regards,
AL

Hello! I just spoke to Mrs. J. and she had a wonderful time. Apparently, she injured her toe and it is a bit uncomfortable but all in all she is good. The girls had a wonderful time. Bernard and his crew were exceptional. We will stay in touch for the trip in the summer going to Europe and we will also book for Thanksgiving. Bernard had mention in one of his emails last week about a few days in April. I'm not sure if that will work but I will let you know.
Thank you and Bernard for everything. It is a pleasure working with you both.

In response to your questionnaire: The answer to all questions is: All aspects of our cruise were unimprovable.
The M/Y Olga is exquisite and perfectly maintained. Captain Bernard Calot is proficient, enthusiastic, and completely engaging. His wife Claire is a talented, imaginative, and accommodating chef. The rest of the crew were very well trained, attentive, industrious, and creative. The crew knew our itinerary well and directed us to the best dive/snorkel sites, beaches, restaurants, etc. We had more fun that we could have hoped for. This ship provides a standard of hospitality services unattainable by the finest resorts in the world.

Hi Bernard, Claire and the entire crew on OLGA: I just wanted to send you an email about my recent charter. Mr. L. said “it was a wonderful charter, we really enjoyed ourselves…the crew were great, they said the crew were “anticipatory”. He told me a story about the last day as you were sailing into the sunset. He turned and commented to his guests “I bet someone will be here within one minute to see what we would like to drink and just then they arrived with Champagne”. The entire trip was this way. The food was “delicious. I don’t know how she did it but the food was elegant, simple and tasty. She hit the right tone. We don’t like fancy sauces and heavy food but we know good food. Claire did an excellent job.” I asked Mr. L. about OLGA. He has chartered several times over the years. He said “the yacht was very well maintained and comfortable and it was a good fit for our group.” Bernard was “attentive and manages his crew well…he is so enjoyable to be with”. I personally wanted to thank you very much for doing such a great job. As you know, the Preference Sheets were not accurate (missing two guests completely) which I’m sorry I didn’t know. But, as usual, you were able to make everything work. It’s refreshing to work with crew who enjoy their work and truly want the guests to have the best time. I’m very impressed at the accounting as well. Bernard—you do a fantastic job keeping the expenses at a minimum and I know that Mr. L. appreciates that, as do I. All in all it was a highly successful charter which was reflected in your gratuity. The ultimate compliment is that they are already talking about coming back. One of the guests contacted me last week to charter the yacht for New Years! I look forward to working with you all again very soon. Kind regards, RO
Hi Bernard,
I just spoke with my client and he had a fabulous time! Bernard he thinks very highly of you, said you are the hardest working captain (or any crew member for that matter) he has ever encountered in all of his years chartering. He was so impressed with how you handled the fishing and all of the arrangements which I must say is a lot from him because he does not give compliments easily but does when they are earned.
He liked the boat, said the layout worked perfect for the group. The kids had a wonderful time so that was the whole reason for the trip. He said the seas were a bit rough but manageable. He was very happy with the catch of fish and the fishing.
Said he wants to do it again next year so that is a plus.
Thanks again Bernard for all of your hard work and efforts, I know that my clients are always in good hands with you.
