Sparrow is a luxurious 62’ catamaran launched in 2010. She offers a unique experience onboard in which guests can simultaneously indulge in the elegance of yachting while savoring the adventure of sailing.

Sparrow’s interior has an impeccably detailed classic design. This is highlighted with American cherry wood, and light blue and white leather seating areas. The generously laid out main salon is perfect for any occasion; dining, socializing, and panoramic views of your destination. Sparrow also features a state of the art galley with a wet bar area ideal for entertaining.

Sparrow comfortably accommodates up to 8 adult guests. Privacy onboard is ensured with all 4 staterooms featuring their own ensuite facilities.
The precision of Sparrow’s teak deck exterior adds to her elegance. The spacious aft deck is the perfect place for enjoying meals or relaxing on her lounge cushions. The cockpit offers the best views onboard at anchor or underway. Those who thrive on adventure will be pleased with Sparrow’s 20 knot max sailing capabilities. These high speeds are well balanced with Sparrow’s stable hull.

To ensure the full island experience of any cruising destination, snorkeling, fishing, and inflatable water toys are available and can be enjoyed by Sparrows 15’ tender.

Sleeps 8 In 4 Cabins

SPARROW can accommodate 8 guests in 4 cabins.
The Master cabin has a queen size bed, shower and toilet.
3 Guest cabins have a double bed, shower and toilet.
SPARROW  has no air conditioning.  This is a non-smoking vessel.  SPARROW´s crew has a separate heads and shower. Guests are not allowed to bring pets onboard.

SPARROW Crew Profile

CAPTAIN Nuno Simas
Captain Nuno was born a sailor.  From the island of Horta in the Azores, Nuno grew up surrounded in an immense sailing community.  He reckons he learned to sail before he learned to walk!  During college he studied Hotel Management, but quickly realized his true passion was for the sea.  Nuno was given an opportunity to sail around the world, which he accomplished in 2 years time. This adventure gave him the desire to pursue his dream of becoming a qualified Captain.

Nuno’s navigation experience is nicely complemented with his easy going demeanor.  His ability to adapt to different cultures and people is an ideal quality allowing guests to feel completely comfortable in his presence.  He lives a healthy lifestyle, with exercising being a part of his daily routine.  One of his favorite water sport activities is wake boarding.  Nuno is musically talented as well, with a love for the guitar.

CHEF/ STEWARDESS Val Maclennan
The lovely chef/hostess Val grew up on Isle of Lewis off Scotland’s West Coast.  Here the ocean was a way of daily life, which Val learned to appreciate early on. The open sea was not Val’s only curiosity, as a young girl she was also drawn to art of cooking.  Val decided to take her passion professionally studying courses in food preparation while completing her B.A. degree in Hospitality Management.  Combining her culinary skills with her love of travel, she has enjoyed being a part of the yachting industry for the last 5 years.  Her experience brings unique tastes from inspired European and Asian cuisines.  

Val has a fun and spirited personality, a great asset for her role as chef/hostess.  She enjoys shopping, meeting new people, and embracing new cultures from all over the world.
