Captain Dal and Chef Anna share the same philosophy: when one gives 100%, together they deliver 200%. Their combined care, energy, and dedication ensure every charter is smooth, joyful, and unforgettable — keeping guests happy, relaxed, and effortlessly entertained.

Captain Dal comes from Yorkshire, in the North of England, and has been sailing since childhood, serving as a professional Captain for 11 years through the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Bahamas. Specialising almost exclusively in crewed yachts and luxury crewed charters, onboard sailing catamarans, and monohulls upto 76 feet, Dal's love for sailing and the yachting lifestyle as a whole has extended into a passion for new adventures, immersing himself in a variety of cultures, meeting new and unlikely people, and hospitality.
Ensuring that he and his team provide their clients the absolute best possible experience on and offboard is a top priority, whilst providing a guest-focused, engaging, friendly and fun atmosphere. Dal is a keen and enthusiastic free diver, scuba diver, sailor, engineer, motorsports and soccer lover, and exceptionally laid-back and easygoing.

Chef Anna is a private yacht chef and experienced sailor who has completed a full circumnavigation, blending global flavours with the effortless luxury of life at sea.
Her cuisine brings together vibrant Asian influences with the light, elegant spirit of the French Riviera — perfect for long, sunlit days onboard. Guests can expect fresh, Asian-inspired lunches full of colour and energy, followed by relaxed, refined three-course dinners crafted in a modern French style.
For Anna, cooking is both joy and meditation. She loves creating clean, flavour-forward dishes, including vegan and keto-friendly desserts that feel indulgent yet nourishing.
As a yoga teacher, she brings balance, mindfulness, and a sense of wellbeing into her galley. Every plate is prepared with care, intention, and a genuine desire to make guests feel pampered, satisfied, and at home on the water.

2025/2026 CHRISTMAS/NEW YEARS: 7-night minimum, full-board onlyXMAS/NEW YEAR’S: 7 nights over Christmas $30,500 and New Year’s flat rate $32,000 for 2-8 guests. 2026 and 2027 New Year’s charters must start December 28th or later.
Cruising Permits, Fees, and Taxes to be paid by the Charterer upon entry to Cruising Grounds or Ports for all locations.
HALF-BOARD RATES: Discount of $150 per person
Includes: 7 breakfasts, 4 lunches & 3 dinners. Requires 3 lunches and 4 dinners ashore at client expense.
LOCAL FARE MEAL PLAN: Discount of $75 per person
Includes: 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches & 6 dinners. Requires 2 lunches and 1 dinner ashore at client expense.

Our extra special week on Okeana
I just returned from a week-long BVI charter with a group of seven friends on "Okeana" with Captain Dal Flynn and Chef Anna Vann. I just wanted to give credit to our wonderful crew. Both Dal and Anna were top notch and the best overall team I have had the pleasure of sailing with in the four charters I have booked.Dal was a perfect blend of professionalism and personality. His witty sense of humor was perfect for our group and set the tone for a relaxed and fun week. The boat was very well maintained, and it was clear Dal takes pride in its upkeep and operation. He was also very accommodating, often looking up drink recipes to suit our tastes and requests, as well as adjusting the itinerary so we could meet up with a friend who was scheduled to be in the area. That flexibility led us to experience a site we had not been to on previous charters, and gave us one of the most enjoyable sailing days of the trip (in my opinion.)
Anna is not only a great Chef, she also takes a lot of pride in the presentation. Everything was presented beautifully and tasted great. She has a sweet, easy going personality and I loved hearing about her sailing history around the world. We so appreciated how hard she worked and commented more than once that she was constantly making us something tasty to eat.
Our group felt so comfortable and well cared for the entire trip, and Dal and Anna's working relationship was notably relaxed and without tension, which I cannot say for all of our previous crews. Their teamwork, professionalism, and warm personalities made the week extra special. While I know it is unlikely we could get them as a team again, we would book them in a heartbeat if we could and hope to sail with one or both on a future charter.
