Crew Profile

Captain Dal comes from Yorkshire, in the North of England, and has been sailing since childhood, serving as a professional Captain for 11 years through the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Bahamas. Specialising almost exclusively in crewed yachts and luxury crewed charters, onboard sailing catamarans, and monohulls upto 76 feet, Dal's love for sailing and the yachting lifestyle as a whole has extended into a passion for new adventures, immersing himself in a variety of cultures, meeting new and unlikely people, and hospitality.

Ensuring that he and his team provide their clients the absolute best possible experience on and offboard is a top priority, whilst providing a guest-focused, engaging, friendly and fun atmosphere. Dal is a keen and enthusiastic free diver, scuba diver, sailor, engineer, motorsports and soccer lover, and exceptionally laid-back and easygoing.

Chef Anna is a private chef and sailor who’s completed a full circumnavigation, combining her love for the ocean with her passion for cooking. She's a big fan of Asian cuisine, especially Japanese, and loves the richness and elegance of French food.

Cooking is Chef Anna's joy and my meditation. She enjoy making vegan and keto-friendly desserts, and loves serving fresh, Asian-inspired lunches followed by refined French-style dinners.

As a yoga teacher, Anna brings balance and mindfulness into everything she does. Every dish she make comes from the heart — and making guests happy is always her top priority.

2025/2026 CHRISTMAS/NEW YEARS: 7-night minimum, full-board only

XMAS/NEW YEAR’S: 7 nights over Christmas $29,500 and New Year’s flat rate $31,000 for 2-8 guests. 2025 and 2026 New Year’s charters must start December 27th or later.

Cruising Permits, Fees, and Taxes to be paid by the Charterer upon entry to Cruising Grounds or Ports for all locations.

HALF-BOARD RATES: Discount of $150 per person
Includes: 7 breakfasts, 4 lunches & 3 dinners. Requires 3 lunches and 4 dinners ashore at client expense.

LOCAL FARE MEAL PLAN: Discount of $75 per person
Includes: 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches & 6 dinners. Requires 2 lunches and 1 dinner ashore at client expense.

LESS THAN 7 NIGHT CHARTERS: For 6 nights divide by 7N X 6N. For less than 6 nights, divide by 6N X number of nights.

Amazing Week on Okeana!

We spent an amazing week sailing the islands of the BVIs on a 49 foot catamaran, the Okeana! She is a beautiful yacht with a great open design. The best part of the Okeana is the crew. The Skipper, Raph is knowledgeable of the waters and attractions, super competent and confident. He made sure we had a safe, fun and relaxing adventure. Isabel, the chef catered to our every culinary and dietary need. Each meal was beautifully presented and delicious! Isabel took great effort to accommodate to each of our dietary restrictions and tastes. This was a first sailing charter for most of our party and everyone had a great time! We will definitely be back!

Trip was perfect!

Our family of 5 and my sister in law spent a week sailing in the BVI on the “Okeana” in July 2021. Our captain was Raphael (“Raph”) Marshall-Naef, and our chef was Isabel Sollberg. Everything about the trip was perfect. Raph is a great captain with lots of experience sailing in the BVI, and he took us to all of the best snorkeling spots and fun locations like Soggy Dollar and Willy T’s. Isabel’s cooking was amazing. Best of all, Raph and Isabel are two of the nicest and most fun people you could meet. Our family has done a lot of traveling and everyone thought it was the best trip ever. We all highly recommend Raph and Isabel, 10 out of 10 stars!!

Fantastic Vacation!

This was a fantastic vacation! Jane and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our daughter, her husband, and our two granddaughters. Captain Dal and Mate JJ made this a memorable time. Dal knew all about the islands and he did a wonderful job of not only being our Captain, but our tour guide as well. JJ used our Preference Sheets to prepare meals that were "over the top". The weather was good, the islands were great, and the boat and crew fit us perfectly. Okeana was just right for our needs. Having four cabins not only allowed the grandparents and parents to have their own cabin, but the two granddaughters also had their own separate cabins. This was a huge plus. We loved spending time on the Top Deck and Fly Bridge (cool breezes). A lot of time was spent on the Fore Deck ... sunbathing and playing board games. Having air-conditioned cabins made the evenings very comfortable. The boat was well maintained, and Dal kept everything spotless during the days.

Booking Our Next Trip

Every meal was truly awesome and Eden really catered to my disdain of seafood. The crew fitted right into our merry crew and joined in our antics. We learned new words and had a blast! The DRINK OF THE DAY always packed a punch. We all sit here looking for tissues on our last morning and planning our next BVI trip!! Until then fairwinds

Excellent Food & Cocktails

Their attentiveness to our needs was exceptional, striking a balance between being available when needed and allowing us our own space to enjoy our time on the boat. The food Eden prepared for us was excellent in both presentation and taste, and her cocktails were the perfect complement to the beautiful surroundings. Each meal was a delightful experience that added to the overall enjoyment of our trip. Their professionalism, hospitality, and expertise made our sailing adventure in the Virgin Islands an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this crew to anyone looking for a perfect blend of relaxation, exploration, and exceptional service on the water.

Felt Like Home

Eden is truly the most incredible hostess. Eden's meals were unreal - Michelin star level if we're qualified to say that! The yacht truly felt like home - clean, tidy and a place for everyone to have their own space or be all together. Could not have asked for a better experience exploring the BVI.

5th BVI Trip - By Far The Best Experience

This was our 5th BVI trip and by far the best experience! Great captain who catered to all our needs. He knew his boat well! We saw new sights we had never seen before - just blew us away!!! First time on charter with a chef. Eden was an outstanding addition. Beautiful person who's presentations were awesome. Thanks for a great time!

The accommodations were exactly what we were looking for—cozy, comfortable cabins and well-appointed bathrooms. The deck, salon, and cockpit offered plenty of lounging space, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the views. The yacht was kept impeccably clean throughout the charter, and we never found ourselves missing a thing—there were more toys, games, food, and drinks than we could’ve asked for, plus endless water activities and snorkeling. The crew truly made the experience unforgettable. Captain Dal was professional, friendly, and highly knowledgeable. He made sure we were always informed, offered flexible options for the itinerary, and even joined us for a few snorkeling excursions, pointing out highlights along the way. Chef Eden was nothing short of outstanding. Every meal was beautifully presented, with plenty of variety and attention to dietary needs—including gluten-free options with every dish. We were treated to an incredible culinary experience three times a day, and never once felt the need to snack between meals. The itinerary was perfect for our first charter—thoughtfully curated with input from the whole group. A special highlight was an island adventure added to celebrate our daughter’s engagement, which meant so much to us. Overall, the crew created a warm, welcoming atmosphere in close quarters, always attentive to our comfort and enjoyment.
