Garin started his yachting journey at just 16, he quickly developed a love for sailing and adventure that has taken him across oceans and into a rewarding career on the water. From captaining catamarans around Saint Martin and the Virgin Islands to serving as Bosun and First Mate on larger yachts, Garin’s calm confidence, professionalism, and hands-on expertise make him a trusted and engaging leader at sea.
Garin thrives in the dynamic environment of charter sailing and takes great pride in sharing the beauty of the Virgin Islands with guests. Whether he's trimming sails, navigating hidden anchorages, or helping guests try their hand at the helm, he creates a safe, welcoming, and unforgettable experience for all on board.

Georgie Baxter, originally from the UK, brings warmth, energy, and an eye for detail to her role as Chef and First Mate. With a background in event management and a strong foundation in hospitality, she effortlessly combines organization with charm to deliver exceptional service. Her culinary style is fresh, wholesome, and beautifully presented—creating dishes that nourish and delight, from sunrise breakfasts to vibrant, three-course dinners.
Having recently completed a Caribbean season and a series of charters with Garin, Georgie has honed the art of balancing seamless service with a personal touch. Her love of entertaining and passion for life on the water shines through in every aspect of her work.

Together, Garin and Georgie form a professional, enthusiastic, and well-matched team. MINIMUM NIGHTS: 4

LESS THAN 7 NIGHT CHARTER RATES: For 6 night charters, divide weekly rate by 7 nights X 6 nights. For 5 nights or less, divide weekly rate by 6 nights X number of nights.

SLEEP ABOARD:1/2 the daily rate. Dinner ashore at client's expense. Includes; boarding after 4pm, welcome cocktail and breakfast the
next morning and early start.

TURN AROUNDS: 48-hour turns are standard

HALF-BOARD OPTION: $150 discount per person
Includes; 7 breakfasts, 4 lunches & 3 dinners, all other meals to be eaten ashore at client's expense.

LOCAL FARE OPTION: $75 discount per person
Includes; 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches & 6 dinners, all other meals to be eaten ashore at client's expense.

NEW YEARS: Flat rate $32,000. Must begin no sooner than Dec 28th.

Doesn't Get Much Better

It is hard to explain how wonderful our trip with you two was. We had such a great sailing adventure...and we all felt so secure with you two guiding us! Your competence, professionalism and sense of humor is hard to find...anywhere! Libra is very fortunate to have you both. Our group was, well, "eventful" 😉 and maybe just a bit hard to manage...but you guys were just perfect and so flexible about what we needed. The food was terrific and you made sure we had what we wanted and also where we wanted to go. Our schedule was your schedule...doesn't get much better than that. Vicki and I keep talking about this trip (and always will)...her birthday was so much fun and much of that was due to both of you making sure we were all happy. One We Will Never Forget

We are writing to let you know how much we were blown away by our sailing trip to the Virgin Islands with you both! From the beginning you both made us feel welcome and very safe. Your confidence in sailing and top notch service were impeccable. You made sure we were well fed, having fun, and had all the comforts in place for us. Ada - your meals were wonderful and every day we looked forward to what you were going to create for us. I especially loved waking up to the breakfasts and the evening desserts. Tim loved your dinner creations. The charcuterie boards were always "right on time" as sailing makes you so hungry. LOL. Everything was perfect! Playing Catchphrase with you both was a highlight as you had fun with this insane crowd. It was impressive how you were not deterred from the playful "smack-talk" either. Coming back from an evening at Soggy Dollar Bar to find a lovely birthday surprise with balloons and decorations was so nice for Vicki - she was very touched. Connor you have a great knowledge of the different islands. We appreciate you getting us to the Baths before the the crowds - how amazing to see it as the first footprints on the sand for the day. The snorkeling spots were so cool for me as I had very little knowledge of snorkeling. Thank you for taking us to Anegada, it was so beautiful touring the island to see the flamingos and beautiful water and beaches. The fresh Anegada lobster dinner was amazing! Thank you again for making the tour exceptional and one we will never forget. We all said that you and Ada will always be our captain and chef when we return - hopefully in the very near future. Tim is sailing again with his buddies in the Spring and he will reach out for sure to maybe see you and Ada.

Wow! what an Experience

Wow, what an amazing experience!! Our family and friends had the best time getting to know you. Thanks a ton for sharing the BVI and USVI with us. Ada's daily food artistry perfectly complemented days filled with exploring, activities, relaxing, sailing, secret snorkeling locations, searching for and finding pirate treasure, watching shooting stars and satellites at night, anchoring in secluded bays, guaranteed shark sightings. All accompanied by a great playlist morning to night. Finally, the daily briefings in native South african were the best!

Our Second Trip In 6 Months

Our second trip in 6 months with Connor and Ada on Libra. After our first trip in the BVI on a catamaran with our children in the summer
 We asked the kids if they would rather not exchange Christmas presents instead be with Connor and Ada over Christmas. All three kids immediately said they’d rather be on the boat with Captain and Chef. For six months they’ve been counting down to Ada’s delicious food and their favorites. And, all the fun places Captain takes them and all the history and fishing they get to do. The rooms were perfect. AC was cold, all kinds of fun toys on the boat. They even had the boat decorated for Christmas for us and then all kinds of fun Christmas games and ornaments and gifts to make it even more special . Connor and Ada are amazing and will definitely be chartering with them again as soon as humanly possible. Christopher M

Beyond Amazing!

Connor and Ada were beyond amazing
 having taken 5 chartered crewed vacations in the BVI (with couples) this was our first experience taking our children 14,13 and 10. Libra was well set up with the most comfortable beds we have ever had on charter, cold ac, tons of toys and plenty of space to enjoy the views
. Connors knowledge of the area , its history and the quiet places to hangout were amazing. Ada made amazing meals; my son has never finished every plate of food as fast in his life. We’re trying to convince her to move to FL so he will eat and we wont have to argue. They made out kids first boat & BVI trip special & fun; so much so that the kids want to come back to the Libra with them in Lieu of Christmas. Amish P.

Your overall star rating?: 5 How would you describe your yacht? Was the yacht comfortable and clean? Well ventilated? Sufficient Shade? Sufficient Space to relax? Absolutely incredible. Surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Plenty of sun if we wanted, and shade if we didn't. A/C units worked well. Roomy enough for 10 people on board to either spend time together, or apart without feeling like we were in each others' spaces. Yacht was modern, great aesthetic. How would you describe your crew? Were they courteous? Helpful? Friendly? Attentive? Knowledgeable? Accompanied you on your activities/land excursions? Professional? Connor and Ada were the best and so professional, but not stuffy. We really, really enjoyed them. They made sure we had everything we needed, kept everything clean, answered any of our questions with confidence. Our entire group would charter with them again, no question. Was the food great and well presented? Did the menus meet your expectations? Did your crew pay attention to your preference sheets? Menus exceeded all expectations. We ate 5 star meals. The food was a highlight of the trip. Yes, they paid great attention to our preference sheets. How did you find the pace and the itinerary of your charter? Perfect. I still can't believe we saw so much of the USVI and BVI, but still felt like we were truly on vacation and not "stuck" to a fast-paced itinerary. Additional comments about the yacht and the crew? What a high, high bar that is now set! Everything was great. Was it easy to travel to and from your yacht?: Yes Did you like the area you chartered in?: Yes

I've just returned from a week-long trip aboard Libra 50 with a great group of friends. We just returned from the most AMAZING charter on Libra! Captain Connor and Chef Ada went above and beyond each and every day to make sure we had the best time!! They listened to what we wanted to do and what kind of food we liked and they delivered! We were excited each morning to see what the day would bring. Capt Connor and Ada are amazing. They made us feel right at home. Ada is a remarkable chef, everything was Michelin star worthy and “Nick and kids” approved. Conner introduced us to some amazing locations around the BVIs. We got so lucky to have found them and hope to cross their paths again.

We had an amazing trip — everything was so well taken care of. Garin is incredibly experienced and made the whole journey smooth and relaxing, even when the weather got a bit rough.
